Most photographers have heard of and applied the rule of thirds in their compositions. This is however the very tip of a large creative iceberg with an amazing array of advanced composition techniques that will allow the students to explore and experiment at a much deeper aesthetic level.
By knowing the basic rules of visual compositions, the freedom to explore outstanding and unusual images through alternative, relevant, and calculated aesthetics will always lead to visual progress. Each subject matter, storytelling and visual explorations will surely lead to a renewed interest in how photography can transform the world around us, convey a message and inform the viewer of your personal creative voice. Student’s images as well as found photographs will be deciphered in terms of composition and techniques throughout the workshop.
