Florida Museum of Photographic Arts  Announces Temporary Closure

Temporary Closure Effective Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 5:00 P.M The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts will temporarily close on March 15th 2020 at 5 PM for two weeks as we continue to monitor the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is committed to the safety of our visitors, members, staff and community. This is a temporary closure, and we will tentatively re-open March 30th 2020. All upcoming classes, programs and tours are cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date.  Please visit our website and social media channels for further updates.    The following information provided by the City of Tampa is intended to help you protect yourself and the community from coronavirus.

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
  • If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.
