About Our Judges
FMoPA Hours and Location

Entry and Fees

Members must bring their entry to the museum by Friday, August 8, 2008.  You may join and pay your membership fee at that time.  A non-refundable entry fee of $30 per person is due when you arrive.  Be prepared to hang your work.  All entries must be pre-wired for hanging.   The sum of the height plus the width of the frame may not exceed a total of 55”.  Please print and fill out the entry form below and bring it with you.  Additional entry forms are available at the museum.  Entrants are encouraged to volunteer in the museum when asked.  Print this page, fill out the form, and submit it with your pieces.

Awards and
Honorable Mention are at the
discretion of the judges.
All decisions are final.
The Fine Print

Liability
By submitting an entry to this exhibition, Members agree that the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (FMoPA) will have no liability for the protection of submitted work or otherwise.  Please see the Web site for further information.

Acceptance/Use All photographs may be accepted or rejected for display at the discretion of FMoPA.  Photographs accepted for display may be removed or relocated from time to time by FMoPA.

Pick-up of Artwork All photographs must be picked up by the Member (or someone with written/signed authority) on September 6 or 9 during regular museum hours.  All work must remain for the duration of the show.

Judging

Entries in this fine arts exhibition are judged according to print presentation, artistic merit, creativity, and technical excellence.

Eligibility

The exhibition and competition is open to all members of the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts.  Members may submit one piece.   Family memberships (and higher) may submit up to two pieces, but not more than one piece per person.  Submissions must be original works produced by photographic methods (including digital) AFTER July 2007. 

Sale of Artwork

We often receive requests to purchase artwork during the Members’ Exhibition.  Members may price and sell your work as an additional fundraiser for FMoPA.  Please indicate on your entry form if you would like to participate.  Then choose the percentage of the sale price that you would like to donate to the museum.  Minimum donation is 33%.  FMoPA will process all sales.

About the Museum

The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is a museum dedicated to exhibiting important photographic art as central to contemporary life and culture. The museum collects, preserves, and exhibits historic and contemporary works by nationally and internationally important photographic artists.  FMoPA also enriches the community by operating outreach programs to educate children and adults.
