This class is being taught by Chip Weiner of Chip Weiner Photographic Arts.  He has 20 years of photography and editing and classroom experience.
He brings humor and practical experience to enhance learning.

Bring your laptop computer loaded with Adobe Elements or come and observe the class and get working knowledge of digital photo editing.

There are many good photo editing software products.  The one being used for this class is Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0. The instructor also has working knowledge of earlier versions of Elements - back to Elements 6, and these version may be used in class.  There may also be some instruction in Photoshop CS4.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call the instructor at 813-786-7780.

Create Art              From This                                                                                To This

Please be advised that this is a a basic photo editing class meant to introduce students to some of the techniques of photo editing.  It is not comprehensive instruction in graphic arts or complex editing techniques.  Photoshop is a powerful program with a long learning curve.  This class is meant to give students an idea of how to do simple editing and learn to create simple projects.

If you would like a more comprehensive series of classes, the Continuing Education program at the University of South Florida http://www.outreach.usf.edu/conted/ offers more intensive courses.
