The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is excited to host Underwater Photography, a collaborative exhibition with the Florida Aquarium coming September 4th, 2015, offering a personal observation of life under the ocean. In documenting marine life suspended in their natural environment, Underwater Photography captures the marvel and mystery associated with the depths of the sea. The seven talented photographers all have previously worked in affiliation with National Geographic to produce detailed, intimate images of aquatic life and curiosities. The style of their photography highlights the natural beauty of oceanic existence through their diving experiences and candid photographic recordings of a brief moment in time. In placing the viewer at the scene of the interaction, the images emphasize the spectacles of deep sea life and the appreciation for aquatic nature.
